"It will be a great way for our young men to be ambassadors for our country and to experience why soccer is the most popular sport in the world," said head coach Jake Ouimet. "We are all very excited in anticipation of spending eleven days playing and watching soccer and touring some of Europe's historical cities."
The team will be making their home, for 10 days, in the beautiful town of Valkenburg in Southern Holland and will be visiting the cities of Brussels, Amsterdam, Maastricht, Koln (Cologne), and Aachen. They will play four competitive matches against PSV U19 Reserves (Holland), MMV U23 Reserves (Holland), Sittard U23 Reserves (Holland) and Genk U19 Reserves (Belgium) and will also be watching three professional matches: Ajax vs. Heerenveen (Dutch Eredivisie), Bayern Leverkusen vs. Hertha Berlin (German Bundasliga), and Genk vs. Standard (Belgium Jupiler League).
