Matt Puthoff returns to the Duquesne University swimming coaching staff for a fifth season with the Dukes. Puthoff will again assist head coach David Sheets with the men's program for the 2007-08 season. A 2002 graduate of Wheeling Jesuit, he brings recent collegiate swimming and coaching experience to the Dukes.

Puthoff joined the Duquesne staff after being a two-year team captain at Wheeling Jesuit. While there, he was an All-WVIAC swimmer, specializing in the sprint freestyle and backstroke events.

A native of Chickasaw, OH, Puthoff currently resides in Pittsburgh.
