MONROEVILLE - The Duquesne women's team hopes for a semifinal berth fell short Friday evening, as they came up short against Xavier 4-2.

The Dukes lost the double point as the Musketeers took 2 of the three matches.

Zena Williams won No. 1 singles 6-4, 6-1 and Rachel McGowan took No. 4 singles 6-2, 6-4 for the Dukes only points of the match.

DU will be playing for fifth place Saturday at 10:30 a.m.
