In eight seasons at the helm, Head Coach Bryan Delsite has turned the Duquesne women's cross country and track & field programs into competitive forces and consistent contenders in the Atlantic 10 Conference. Over his tenure, Delsite has seen the programs take their top Atlantic 10 Championship finishes led by numerous A-10 individual champions and All-Conference performers. He has brought the program to new levels by continually improving the overall quality of the Dukes' competition and talent. Just about each university record has fallen under his guidance. Delsite has seen 29 student-athletes earn All-Atlantic 10 honors a total of 49 times over his term.

Last year was a break-out season for the Dukes who took a University-best second place finish at the 2005 A-10 outdoor track & field championship. The Red & Blue posted fourth place showings at both the indoor track and cross country championships. Delsite was lauded as the A-10 Outdoor Track & Field Coach of the Year after seeing his Dukes take five gold medals - 400m hurdles, pole vault, long and triple jumps and the 3,000m steeplechase. The Dukes also snagged four silver and two bronze medals. The indoor slate was highlighted by silver medal performances in the 1,000m run, the 4 x 400 meter relay, the high and triple jumps as well as the pole vault and shot put. Freshman Amy Ruffolo led the Dukes taking 10th overall at the cross country championship to earn All-Conference accolades.

In 2003-04, the cross country squad took fourth at the A-10 Championship led by All-Conference performer Elizabeth Graham's seventh place finish. The indoor track squad finished fourth overall led by gold-medal showing in the 4 x 800 meter relay and the 1,000 meter run. Duquesne also won silver in the high jump and pole vaults and took bronze in the triple jump. The outdoor squad also finished fourth at A-10s led by Sarah Fetterman's gold medal pole vault. Silver was won in the triple jump and discus while the Red & Blue took bronze in the javelin, triple and long jumps as well as the 1,500 and 10,000 meter runs.

He guided his 2002-03 Dukes to a fourth-place finish in outdoor track & field and fifth in both indoor track and cross country. DU won first in the discus and placed second in the shot put, javelin and high jump during the outdoor slate and took first in the distance medley relay and second in the 20lb weight throw during the indoor championship. Carrie Hucko took third overall to pace the Dukes at the A-10 cross country championships and helped lead the team to a 13th place finish at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Championships.

Delsite led his 2002 outdoor track & field squad to a then University-best third place finish en route to being lauded as the Atlantic 10 Coach of the Year. Individual championship titles were won in the triple jump and 400 meter hurdles as well as silver medal in the 4 x 800 meter relay and the 800 meter run. The indoor team took sixth-place capturing six medals led by a gold in the triple jump. Delsite's 2001 cross country squad finished eighth overall as they were hampered with injuries, which included the loss of two of his top performers for the A-10 championship.

The 2000-01 season was the first of banner years for Duquesne as the cross country squad matched its best finish taking fourth in the Atlantic 10 championship behind two all-conference selections. The indoor track & field squad garnered a fifth place performance at the A-10 Championships while earning five individual and team bronze medals. The outdoor squad placed sixth overall led by 2001 Atlantic 10 100 meter hurdles champion, Nicole Wiley, who has the distinction of being Duquesne's first individual champion. Additionally, the Dukes collected a silver medal in the javelin and two bronze medals in the shot put and triple jump.

In his first year at the helm, Delsite's squad placed seventh overall in each track championship and was eighth in cross country during the 1998-99 seasons. Duquesne was seventh overall in cross country and placed eighth in track & field during the 1999-2000 championships.
